July 27, 200817 yr hey, i was wondering what was the last standard pci ddr video card made. Cause i have a early 2000 computer which uses ddr ram and pci video cards. Just bought the nvidia 6200 over clocked for 102 bucks at bestbuy since it was the nearest place. Thank You, Kobeman8

July 27, 200817 yr whoa, Albatron are still developing for PCI but there is no current price for the PCI version of the 8600gt ( http://www.nordichardware.com/news,7942.html) but expect to pay a high premium for obsolete technology, you are much better off upgrading your motherboard to PCIe for futureproofing but that usually means an entire new computer for most people as alot of your periphirals may not be compatible.
July 27, 200817 yr The RAM technology on a graphics card does not matter - you can use a DDR graphics card on a DDR/SDRAM/EDO/FPM system, or any other kind of graphics memory, just as long as it has the right kind of slot, and enough PSU capacity in reserve to accomodate the power usage
