lordseath
Is there any other good places to train range with knifes other than the yaks or fire giants?

123_x_pac
It'd help to put your range level and what you want to train it to. I train using slayer or avians. Both can have good xp and make cash. Eagle_Tas
Regardless of your level, though. You should always wear as maxed a ranged bonus as possible and use ranging potions to boost your progress. If you are ranged level 70+, using Rune crossbow with broad-bolts, mithril or adamant bolts will be your best generic setup for slayer and monsters. If you intend to train on ogres, yaks or some other relativelly safe monster, a magic shortbow or throwing knives will suffice to get yourself some quick good levels.
