When a fighting familiar aids you, do you get any xp for what it hit.

 

 

 

So smoke devil hits a 5, will I get any mage xp for it hitting 5? And is there a formula to work out how much xp you'd get according to what it hit?

If you check the knowledge base you will find that each combat familiar gives you xp in a certain skill when it hits.

I know that melee familiars give normal melee experience. Example: Familiar hits a 4, you get 16xp.

 

I don't know whether this is the same for magic familiars though, they may give 2 xp/hit or even less.

All attack styles are 4xp/1dmg.
