dutchphoenix
Hi, I've got a question about killing the Dagganoth Kings. What are the minimum requirements to kill them with a team? My stats are in sigh. If you got idea's on what to train I want to know them :
D Jay99
80+ def, 80+ magic and 70+ prayer would be perfect, but you can do it with 70+ def/mage and 60+ prayer. High alch or something to level your magic, train your defence through slayer and use dragon bones on a gilded altar to train prayer.

And where can I find a gilded altar because I'm just 44 construction? And should I get chivalry through the minigame or not?
123_x_pac
Yes dragon bones are expensive but you should be able to make the money for them through the alching you do to level magic. And the prayer levels aren't really so much for chivarly and piety, but to bless your partner's grave. Also, you can find Gilded altars at RSOF's event forum. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
dutchphoenix
well I calculated how much dragon bones I would need to get to 70 pray. And it's a lot in my opinion. I need 2362 dragon bones on gilded altar to get me to 70 pray. And this would cost me about 5.6 mill if I bought the bones for max. And 5.6 mill is something I just dont have. Maybe if I sold all my stuff but that is not an option. What should I alch?
green9090
I think PC is still semi-reasonable prayer training for those who can't afford dragon bones. D Jay99
Alching doesn't make you money. Yup. +1. Eh. To make money, you should try fishing monkfish, mining pure essence or collecting seconds for herblore. These methods aren't really fast though, so it may take a while before you're able to afford 70 prayer. You might be better off getting 60 prayer, then getting 70 prayer after you've made some money at the Dks.
dutchphoenix
Kk I'll get 60 prayer first. And 80 mage with alching. Going to do some slayer for my defense. Tnx : 1 question: What to alch to lose less money?
D Jay99
Alch the Yew Longs you make yourself, and Green D'hide Bodies, Steel plates, various pouches and some rune items are good to alch too. You can only buy 100 of these every 4 hours through the g/e though, so yew longs may be the best option.
dutchphoenix
Well I looked a few things up: 1: To get 80 magic I need to alch about 23.500 times 2: That is about 5.8mill in nature runes 3: I need about 550 dragon bones on giled altar to get me to 60 prayer 4: that is about 1.2mill in bones 5: In total this is 7mill even without the money to buy yew logs and bowstrings. This is a lot for me But I'll try it
D Jay99
You forget you get money back when you alch the bows. Yew logs - 413 Bowstring - 191 Nature Rune - 244 Total - 848 Yew longbow alch price - 756 That's a 92gp loss, total loss to 80 magic is 2,16M. That's not a lot, and you get 3,5M fletching xp too. You're right. 2.16mill + 1.2mill for the bones is a total loss of 3.4 mill But in what quantity should I buy the yew logs, bow strings and nature runes with a budget of about 5 mill? probably 3 or 4k right? D Jay99
Yes, that should be okay. Just buy in 4k batches, alch them when you're done then buy another batch. It seems like you're ready now. Good luck :
