So We WERE playing different games!

3 pk/pvp minigames coming up- surely THREE will cover most of the wildy.

I hope so. However, it's been quite a while since the wilderness updates. Surely it'd be better if adequate replacement games had been available from the start. To the pk'ers, it's like being homeless for half a year and then some. Still, something had to be done about RWT, I understand that. It's just that all the good pk'ing memories I had (haven't really actively pk'd for a year or two now) will now be just that, memories. But I guess that's the same for the active RSC pk'ers when the 3-round system was removed.

You know I'm sick of that argument: "there was no other choice". There are always choices: for 1 they could remove the reason that rwting existed, remove the grinding for skills/levels! - Just make it so that there's actually variation/clever thinking required to get xp+levels, not just " time"!

I think I've seen anough angry people on this thread already. Let's try to keep it a calm enviroment, please.

You are correct: there is always a choice- but if there would be cleaver thinking needed to level up, zezima would definatly be on the "run3$c4p3`$ b1gg3$+ n00|3 11$+" (runescape's biggest noob list [purposely written in "leet"])- people would jsut ahve to follow step-by-step instructions. variation qwould be a good idea-into turning runescape into a whole different game: leveling is what 'unlcoks' ruenscape for you- you cant get a quest cape with lvl 1 in each skill.

time and items are required to lvl up in any skill- people don't care about time because you cant do anything about it, and tehy get items from rwting. some people are too lazy to get items, so tehrefore they buy them to get high lvls.

Time, Items, and.... waht's teh next thing needed? a strategic plan. Yes- lets say a first timer in rs rwts for 100m. lets say he wants to lvl magic- uh oh!!! at lvl 1 he can only use wind strike- and since he's a first tiemr who's too lazy to read teh knowledge base, he dosent know waht to do. he found out you need one air and one mind rune to cast teh spell on a monster. he buys one air, one mind. he's new but wants a challenge, so goes to green drags. he casts one spell, then teh dragon goes for him and kills him... next time he goes, he forgets his stuff. he goes back, buys teh ruens, goes back again, and keeps a distance. he uses up his spell and... the ruens are gone! now he knows taht one air/mind does one, only one strike. he buys 25m airs and 25m minds. goes to dragons, notices taht he hits a 0 or completely fails the spell. so now he's dumbfounded and buys an incredibly advanced autoer to get all his skills to 99 in 3 days(I'm glad these things don't exist!!!!). after 3 days, he's a lvl 138 who:

-has almsot no knowledge of ruenscape

-wasted a LOT of money on those stupid autoers.

-dsoent know what to do

therefore he thinks he's teh king of runescape cuz he got 99 in all skills and that stuff, so since he thinks he beat the game, he quits. sorta useless, huh?

so i sued a rahter long story to give a rather long answer to taht.

PLEASE NOTE: I first started this post, then I had to go away from computer, but didnt turn it off- so i went on from where i am. most likely I'll re-edit this post to give answers to people who posted before me.

allbogs- great responce there- mine could be an addition to yours.

Death should not be taken as 'the end,' but a very effective way to cut down taxes.
