August 8, 200817 yr Not use scanlines, I'm still novice, but dont add scanlines over the whole signature, the text is too big, and contrasring, you could just have no text at all. The stock that you used was fairly dark, or maybe that was just the scanlines you place in. The outer glow on the focal is really tacky. And animation is well bad... August 8, 200817 yr I agree with thru on all his points, the signature is way too dark in my opinion and the guy that's sitting on that wall stick out too much as the contrast of him and the wall is high. the stocks doesn't fit with each other too well either and the stock with the guy is jpg killed? Scanlines between the two just kills it, text steals nearly as much attention as the stock with the guy. I suggest starting over from scratch with lighter stocks with better quality, they're easier to use. Stock tutorials on Deviant art also help.
August 9, 200817 yr I think the updated sig needs a bit of blending with Lupe as he stands out to much. Change the font size to 12 as it catches your eye more than the picture at it's current size. August 9, 200817 yr I like this one to be honest, good job with the effects. The flow could be better but isn't "bad", colours goes well, background is good (Colours), the render/focal is good (Quality). The text needs to be changed though, drop down shadows are a big no no as well unless it's really hard to spot, try playing around with colour and opacity and even multiple layers of text.
