Member mining question

Currently 61 mining, wanting at least 75 or so to speed up gold mining. Money is not an issue (with mining you don't really spend money I guess lol). I can do the Az Gold Mines, so I was thinkin that would be a good place to train (close to bank). Or is iron still the standard for powermining?

 

 

 

So, to sum it up, member wanting 61-75 mining. Any advice is appreciated.

mine granite or if u have 57 summon use kyatt to tele mine the iron there and dualing ring to bank.

if you want to make money id go with gold, or do the coal trucks.

 

coal is decently fast xp, and is always in demand. you could also use it to get your smithing up.

 

 

 

you dont need to go to the bank when you go to the az mines, theres a dwarf who will bank your ores (he takes 1 out of every 5 ores) in case you didnt already know this.

 

another method of gold mining is necklaces of skills, and fally tele/teletabs.

 

 

 

powermining works well but you dont make any money that way. iron is easy to powermine and there are many places you can powermine iron without anybody else being around, although it does get a bit lonely.

 

if youve done dealing with the scabaras you can powermine granite without any waterskins. which is good xp. not sure what lvl most people start doing that at though.

 

 

 

theres a mine near draynor bank where there are about 10 coal rocks 5 mith rocks and 2 addy rocks. this is always good if you want mith ores, and at your level theyre pretty quick.

i was just trying to help.

 

from my experience ive always done coal because i can miine it fast and i use it.

 

and yes my post was long because i was trying to help by explaining several methods i have always used.

I used coal from 35ish to 77 mining, which was a horrible idea and you shouldn't do that. that was about 6 years ago..however...

 

 

 

More importantly, power mining granite would be your fastest option, but I'm not sure whether a water tiara or the humidify spell is more cost effective. It's 3 or so waters/sip with the tiara, aye? but each cast of humidify can give you some multiple of 4(I suggest 32 aka 8 skins) sips...but i didn't bother to run the numbers someone else can do that....a tiara would be less hassle, of course.

 

 

 

I personally suggest mining and banking iron to use in smithing later, that's what I do now, and it's a good deal better than mining thousands of lumps of coal...
