I'm going to put "Steel Dragon" on my ignore list and see what I get for slayer.

Having public on hide shouldn't affect anything, as what they say doesn't show up in the chat box either way, it only appears over their head.

i just got giles and it didnt work for me.

Faked as a bug, I'd say.

 

 

 

I've had Miles, Niles, and Giles tail me after I answered their questions, not saying anything. How do I know this isn't a real bug? Randoms don't just go away if you log out while they're visitng, and the ignore list reads from a list completely different from the list of npcs. It would be structurally impossible for a random to accidentally be ignorable on the ignore list.

 

 

 

Edit: I'd also like to point out that I find it highly unlikely that NPC's talk through the same methods players do, making it impossible to ignore them.

Sorry Maurainus, but I have to agree with Omali. This is a fake. What is to say you didn't just take a picture of your ignore list when Miles was not talking to you. The ignore list is only designed/coded for players, not NPC's, so it is impossible for them to cross over.

And the bones to hide what was previously said by him.

well sorry i did not fake anything he just didn't say nothing to me. I added them for fun in my iggy and well since no one yet has reproduced it :S

 

 

 

Maybe better if a mod would lock it :), if at any time a player get's the same bug we will have more evidence :)

Meh I just got niles and it didn't work. Maybe there's just a bug with miles. Someone earlier in the thread said it didn't work on giles either, so again, maybe it's just a bug with miles and nothing to do with the ignore list.
