August 16, 200817 yr Just started playing CS:S again today because I am that goddamn bored (waiting for WAR). Played a bit with speedofsound, rocked him (killed him with a knife like 5 times) and actually did pretty good. Playing CS:S because it just plays smoother for me than CS 1.6. Honestly 1.6 is really choppy and laggy (connection wise) where as CS:S runs perfect. Meh I like CS:S better anyways ;p.
August 16, 200817 yr I play Source mainly, though from time to time I'll get on 1.6 because I think it'll give me a good change of pace. I get owned and decide to go back to what I'm good at. August 16, 200817 yr 4 hours on this Gun game server and I'm like rank 194 :S. Of course I only have a 1.07 KD or whatever but half my kills are headshots.

In the past 2 days I've made 7.2m on top of that thanks to Bounty Hunter. So why play for 3 years when you can do that?

August 17, 200817 yr I'm starting to prefer 1.6 over source now. Once they fix the hitboxes in source I'll probably start playing there a little more.
August 18, 200817 yr So me and Nadril have this rivalry going on. We'll join the same server and just try to kill each other. So far Nadril's had the upper hand, but I'm starting to do better.. We'll see how this turns out. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."
August 25, 200817 yr Ooh... just noticed this thread. Been playing counter-strike since 1.5 (pre-steam). Only play source now. I've been CAL (cyber athletics league) I, IM, and currently M.
August 25, 200817 yr I have a friend that plays 24/7 assault, and seriously, outside of the spawn zone you can barely move without him headshotting you. He knows the map blindfolded, he knows every trick, every tiny little ledge, where you can stand to get obscenely good lines of sight ect.. but play him on any other map and he's just not that good. Personally I love gungame and surf maps. Most of my friends just cant do surfing, but I found it really easy to pick up and a really awesome twist in the gameplay.
