Made without any tutorials... But now I think the text is really quite bad... C/C please. :)

 

Well the outline on the star stands out to much, the brushes go over kirby.

 

But I like the lighting and the mix of colors, it's cheerful and makes me happy when I see it.

I quite like it, but the black-ish line around Kirby needs to go. Also, I'd get rid of the wind effect, the background under it looks pretty good so that effect just isn't needed. Try blending the render more too.

I agree with Jopie. I also think it's too many colours :|, good improvement though.
