VjuliusT
*Cough* Stock tiem. Half finished: Smudging doesn't flow too good. Going to ditch this one as the colors aren't too good and I boxed myself in at a couple of places. I made 2 smudging settings 1 with the shalk and one with a hard round brush and I really need feedback on how it looks, Can't really judge that myself. baalboy5
left side is too boring, nothing added and I can see the brushes. I like the lighting, although their a little light left of the face that stands out. Looks great, I can't wait for the final results. also here something a gud artist told me for smudging to get a nice effect. OH you mean the one i made for him? All that is is smudging using different layer settings. Paste your render. Copy and paste 5 times Leave the top and bottom render layers set to normal. The 2 above the bottom render layer, set to linear dodge. The 2 above that set to colour dodge. Then smudge using a chalk smudge brush on 60 pixels. Change the brush settings on the tab on the right to 350% scatter and count 4. Do this on the first of the linear and colour dodge layers. For the second linear and colour dodge layers. Change the scatter to 50% and count 1 Then smudge the render again on those layers. And you are done. If you want blending then apply your image then use the displacement filter Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

Jopie211
The smudging looks quite good, if you were going for a really smooth look that is. I think this stock needs more of a kick with the smudging; more chaoticness. (Organized chaoticness, that is.) Also, try adding some C4Ds and smudge some parts of those with a brush at slightly lowered opacity. And is it just me, or is the stock a bit LQ (yes, I have been lurking at PR Forums lately)? pixel avvy by me deviantART
VjuliusT
What's LQ? Thanks for the tips there specially the C4D one, I'll see what I can do to make it a bit chaotic.
