Moad14 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Just keep training slayer. When I asked, I was told it was about 1:15,000 kills, so it's not really worth your time. Although you may get lucky and find a chain your first drop, it's all random. Never a guarantee, but it is very very very rare. green9090 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 When I was young and foolish (and dragon chain was the equivalent of an Armadyl hilt as far as drops were concerned) I camped over 3k dust devils. I saw a left half shield, but no chain. STiSkill Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Yea, they have a good charm rate drop along with good exp and decent drops to alch. But the rate of getting a chain is a bit insane. I camp there sometimes when I was some charms, but in the long run, you'd make more through regular slayer drops/clues along with slayer, then camping Dusties. Good luck! iCraftin's Blog Of Doom! If you kill them, you should do it for their more valuable common drops and their good charm drop rates, and consider the chance of a d chain to be more of a bonus. It's probably not going to happen.
