August 17, 200817 yr Does the kill count mean anything towards wat your gonna get in the chest. Or is it aslong as u just kill the brothers
August 17, 200817 yr You can't get some items like blood runes or bolt racks if you have under 7/9 killcount, I believe. Getting 100 kc or something doesn't improve your rewards noticeably, just pick a lucky number 10-20 and get that. Also, you can only get items from brothers you've killed, so make sure you kill them all six.
August 17, 200817 yr Kill count only increases the number of runes/bolt racks you recieve from the chest. Is has no bearing on whether you get a barrow item.

OT: Yeah, kill count doesn't really affect whether you get a barrows item, just how much runes/bolts you get. I got a warspear with just 6 kill count. :thumbsup: Most important is to kill the 6 brothers, but getting the rest of the stuff helps you break even on dry runs.
