August 17, 200817 yr I made a post like 2 days ago where I asked how to lvl 60 atk fastest. Now I have 50 atk and 50 strength and wondering if getting a granite maul is worth it, and if it have a attack leveling attack mode. I'm leveling at rock crabs if you were wondering.
August 17, 200817 yr It's a slow weapon, training with a rune scimitar is faster. Maybe buy it to use it as a spec weapon. Also, make sure you use super sets, they speed up training a lot.
August 17, 200817 yr Author So i need a trip to Ge either way to get those potions. And by spec weapon you mean having it in my inv until i have full spec and use them, then switch back to rune scimmy?
August 17, 200817 yr Use normal pots, its a waste to use super pots at your lvl because they are expensive and wont bring ur att/str lvl high much...just train with a rune scimmy, and keep the g maul for specs and for fun :? 99 Fletching - 08/14/08Fire Cape - 3/7/09Quest Cape - 12/29/0999 Defense - 3/17/10

Granite maul is useless as a training weapon, and super sets are super important for training. If you can't afford them, at LEAST use super attack potion and regular strength potion. It's super cheap; I think you'll find you can afford it pretty easily by, say, picking flax for a minute for every hour of combat you use potion for. I STRONGLY disagree with CastleWars about super potions not being worth it, for the record. Join "DG Sweepers" Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn |
August 17, 200817 yr Author About how many super strength pots should i purchase? And you mean I shouldn't bother buying the granite maul.
August 17, 200817 yr Buy around 10-15 super attack and strength potions to start you out. They should last you QUITE a while, and then you'll get a better idea of about how quickly you use them and how many you want. August 17, 200817 yr Author Ok ty for the help. Will prolly have 200k left either way, but a full inv.
August 17, 200817 yr The granite maul is only good if it's used in Pvp. If you're training, so little of that time is used using the special that you're much better off with a rune scimitar.
