Ranged - What should i use?

Im training range and im confused a bit.Ive heard fastest xp is if I use knives with unholly book,but thing is iron knives are 38 ea,and bone bolts are much cheaper plus bone bolts hit as twice as iron knives do I think (needs to be confirmed)..

 

 

 

What do you think bout this?

The "Bone c'bow" is indeed a fast and cheap way to train your ranged level when training on something fairly weak. If you are, however, training on higher level creatures then I suggest using a rune c'bow with broad-tipped bolts.

I know about rune c bow and broad head arrows.I use those at aviansies.But i don't train on high lvl monsters , so im asking between iron knives and bone bolts..

I would suggest using a "bone c'bow" instead of iron knives when strictly training on fairly weaker creatures; the c'bow is very useful at the Ardougne Training Camp's ogres... although it can be crowded at times.

Knives are faster, and bolts are cheaper. It really depends on how much you wanna spend. Knives are very fast, and bolts are really slow compared to them. That's why knives are faster, even though bolts hit higher.

Knives are a lot (and I mean a lot) faster than bone bolts. Also, don't use iron knives, use bronze knives. Those are 14ea, by using iron knives you're basically paying 24gp/knive extra for just +1 more range bonus.

 

Use range pots, it helps.

In the situation you've presented us in I'd have to advise you to go for c'bow + bolts. ;)

umm...if you dont have money problems...just buy like 20k+ bronze knives (14 ea) and go to king lathas ogres
