Wel yeah its only for the chest in the lava maze, but the reward you get in the maze is soo useless... i was really unimpressed by it

Yup... but dude its so not worth it... you only get about 5k worth in the chest....

 

you could always fight the chaos dwarves and get the keys yourself, and dthen sell them on G E... could turn out profittable

It is not worth any of your time, believe me.

The chest is in the Lava maze, a deep wilderness location (level 44 single combat), with Revenants to worry about as well as a couple of Lesser Demons.

 

 

 

The contents are:

 

(Unstackable items)

 

Uncut ruby

 

Mithril bar

 

Mithril dagger

 

Anchovy pizza

 

(Stackable items)

 

2 law runes

 

2 death runes

 

10 chaos runes

 

50 coins

 

 

 

The uncut ruby is about the mos valuable of the items, the mitril bar is also good for smithing or sale, the small pack of runes is welcome for mages.

 

The Mithril dagger, and the steel plate you may find in the area, are good to free alch with the lumbridge diary ring, and the Pizza is a welcome food booster (remember, you still have to get back to safety).

 

 

 

It's better to have more than one key, as you can use them all and get the chest contents for each.

 

 

 

With a decent combat level, you can get some from the Chaos Dwarves, not that far away (level 30 wild), they also drop mithril bars and some assorted mithril and steel stuff (good for free alching).

Hey man, six years ago that reward was AWESOME! I was really really excited when I finally found out how to open it and got my reward. First anchovie pizza I ever saw... took up a bank space for a looong time :P

Are they p2p only?

No you can get them from the chaos dwarves near the goblin mining site... thats wear i get mine and im F2P... but they are kinda rare tho...

If you bring some alc runes and 15-20 keys you'll come back with a pretty good yield :)
