Soccerdudety
Are the tabs worth it? The minigame is ok, not as bad as BA though. Is it worth spending X amount of time to get my 120 tabs needed for 5k laws? How long (estimate) would it take to get these tabs? What would take longer, crafting laws via abyss, or getting tabs and doing it that way? Thanks in advance. MY RUNESCAPE GOALS
cat666
I think it is worth it. Each round will net you about 1k tokens so thats roughly 25 tabs. I make deaths and the tabs are a lifesaver. Coupled with an abysall familiar I made 1700ish deaths in 40 mins. Admitedly I spent another 40 mins playing the minigame but it breaks the monotany. Trust the Gene Genie! green9090
I doubt it's worth it. Then again, I hate that minigame- played it once and my team failed and left. By the last round I was the only one on my team. This was after I tried to play, got left behind while reading the rules, and then told I had left early and thus had to wait 25 minutes. Yeah. I keep meaning to go back, but... So yeah, a very biased "don't bother" from me. Dragon_lord
25 minutes? When GOP was first released you only had to wait 10 minutes if you leave before the game ends. You can't expect to always win, especially if you're playing for the first time. You just got stuck with a bad team, you shouldn't give up that easy and decide to not go back... As for the tele tabs, they are very handy. But some of them are overpriced in my opinion. I mean, 30 tokens for 1 air tab?!! That should be 10 tokens max. Although I guess the Nature/Law tabs are more reasonable considering the time they'd save you and the value of those two rune types. If you have enough time/patience I'd say you should definitely go for it. Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.

Jagex has carefully planned out each one so that using regular air running and this one will not be to extreme. I would expect that to be the same with the laws. IN order for that to be faster, you would probably need to win at least 60% of the possible max tokens per game. If you think you will always manage a winning team, go ahead but i suggest you stick with the safe way.
Laura
Since I don't feel like retyping: First off, given my timely hours spent on Runecrafting, I quite enjoy this minigame. But as for my trek to 91, it served no purpose. The robes are quite pointless in the fact they offer no benefit outside the game. The tabs are near useless: As being 3k tokens the max you can get per hour. 45 tokens for the value of one blood rune. 3,000/45=66 Assuming I can use all four pouches, had no need for a super energy, and used Dueling Rings to bank, and had a weight of 0kg or less. This would amount to (28-4)+(3+6+9+12)-(blood teleports or 1)=53 Although, at such speeds, it is worth noting not to bank the runes needed. Thus giving us a total of 52 runes per run. My runs were timed accordingly: 44.6 44.9 42.4 41.2 42.9 42.0 41.8 This averaged around 42.8 seconds per run or 84.2 runs per hour. The amount of runs multiplied by the amount of runes gives us a total of 4,378 blood runes per hour. Along with 45,969 experience. That's great isn't it! No. You still have divide both totals by two since it took you another hour to get the tokens. 23k EXP 2,189 Runes. To put simply, that is matching, if not worse than crafting via Abyss. Not to mention having a winning team 100% of the time is highly unrealistic. These runecrafting tabs seem great, but they don't even challenge old methods such as the abyss. And they even offer nearly a -100% experience cut as compared to ZMI(Maxing at 42.9k/hour). So unless you enjoy the minigame, it's just not worth using. I'm highly disappointed, mainly by the robes, as they are useless, since the tabs are worthless. The update to this game was nice, but not nearly enough. I'd like to see at least 2-5% increase in either rune production or experience gain during real world runecrafting whilst wearing these robes. The runecrafting guild is great. But it's pretty much centered around this minigame. The only other thing it has to offer is alter locations. Which are quite easy to remember for serious runecrafters. Happy Scaing, ~Laura~ Isn't it like 1000 tokens per perfect game? And then lasting 20 minutes each. That's still not justifying the wait time, along with the experience. As for the experience in game, you might get (28-4 pouches-two wands=22 spaces +30 essence from pouches Totaling 52 essence. Assuming(as there at endless possible outcomes) you save all your essence for the nature rune. You'd receive[(52*8)(2)]832 experience per 20 minutes. Which could easily be gotten in two or less minutes at the Abyss. Again, this is also assuming you have the best possible outcomes at each alter, having the best team, and winning 100% of the time. Which in itself is'nt realistic. While I agree efficiency is a factor, the amount of enjoyment out of the skill itself is much larger. Many of my friends enjoy the minigame. It's just not worth it in the long run. While sure you could make ~1M an hour with the tabs, that number is halved with time it takes to get to tokens. And and that, you could save countless hours using ZMI and the doubling Natures after 91, giving you a far better experience:gp ratio. Happy Scaping, ~Laura~ And Stretch, I can see where you're coming from. They are safer, however, since the removal of PK'ing, I can honestly say I have not once died. There are also many other options, such as the abyssal bracelet, which will not skull you(still not worth it). And with the introduction of gravestones, 3 or 5 minutes is plenty enough time to get to your grave. You'll lose your pouches, yes. And I can see they carefully thought out the effects of the tabs and robes, but they just don't challenge existing methods. I don't care about getting over 25k an hour along with money. But I would however, like a viable reward for playing the minigame. Whether it be 2 more runes per trip while wearing the full robes, or .1 more experience per essence. Also, I'd like to point out graahk crafting. I can get 6k Natures an hour(at 91) nearing 1M an hour. I need no defence status, and the only requirement is 59 Summoning, quite easy to achieve. Pretty sure it was 25. I don't expect to always win, but just the fact that your whole team can desert you without the game compensating you in some way screams poor design to me. It was extremely frustrating and leaves me with no desire to repeat the experience at all. Sure, if we had balanced teams and lost fair and square I'd have given it another go, but this was another story entirely. It also didn't help that the entire opposing team was made up of twelve year olds going "OMG LOL WERE BEATING A 134 WHAT A NOOB."
