Ad Aware or Spybot Search & Destroy?

Featured Replies

Which do you believe work best? I must Take one away, as Ad aware seem to have negative effect on Spybot...

That message is just a warning Spybot put in because ad-aware could detect the spyware that you moved to quarantine on Spybot. I currently use both with no problems.

Both, just have only 1 active at a time and only scan using one at a time.

Yep, like they said. Spybot currently covers pretty much all kinds of spyware, with the exception of cookies. What Spybot can't deal with Ad-Aware generally does.

Don't throw out either of the two, 'Spybot S&D' and/or Ad-Aware. They make an excellent combo to have and use. But, don't use their real-time protection systems, as those only turn into a pain. :geek:
