I've tried to implement a foreground which is apparently what I need to do.

V2

I've tried to implement some sharpening on the left side, though the sharpen filter is being stubborn for the foreground. I also changed the sprite and added some more splatter brushing

Effects looks great, I really like the right side, you smudged a line and warped it right?

I agree with thru. Good colours, but really blurry. Shouldn't fg effects be sharp and bg blurry?

The right side looks pretty good, but I agree the smudging is a bit too blurry. Needs some more sharp details on the left.
