My advice would be to just play the game and you'll of course meet plenty of friends along the way. Usually you meet people in the most unexpected of places! I and plenty others have gotten lots of good friends over the years this way; I don't think you'll have any trouble. :) Never trust anyone. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
