Okay so..... Im trying to start lving Farming, since i just became a member....

 

Im lv 4 and want advice what is the easyest way to lv up farming.

 

 

 

Where to farm and how to farm to make it quickest to lv up.

Plant marigolds, and the best allotment you can at allotment patches. Locations are right here. When you hit level 9 start planting herbs too. Don't stand around waiting for the crops to grow; do farming runs instead.

+1, finishing the quest will give you like 3.5k farm exp, so you can start planting oak trees right away, they are great early on exp.

Doing all the quests that give farming xp is the best way to start farming, as you can get to 25+ farming rather quickly.

 

Fairly Tale pt 1 will get you to around lvl 17, which is enough to do to the drunken dwarf quest, which will get your farming to about 26. This means you can now do Garden of Tranquility, giving enough xp for lvl 29-30 farming. In addition, the Goblin sub-quest from R4D gives 1000 farming xp, which leaves with only around 1k experience needed for lvl 32 farming, which you could easily get using tears of guthix.

 

 

 

Thats a good way if you enjoy doing quests, and since I wrote that 2 years ago, I'm sure there are more quests you could do to get even more xp without actually farming.

Trees are my favorite way of training Farming. I can go around a few times a day harvesting and planting my trees, which works perfect during the school week. During the weekends I'll throw some allotment runs in too if I have the time.

A little tip for getting low lvl seeds is to hang around draynor when people are pickpocketing the master farmer. Atleast I drop allotment under tomato, herbs under ranarr, hops under wildblood etc. And seeing as farming is a skill that does take time, try to farm as many different locations as possible at any given time. Hop patches start at lvl 4 with barley and there's one field in Lumby, bushes start at lvl 10 with redberries and there are 2 bush spots easily available to new players (champions guild and south of crafting guild). Also keep in mind that farming will give pretty good help to other skills. use sacks and baskets to collect you produce, cook the potatoes/onions etc, make pots from the herbs, marigold are either for summoning or sell for a very nice price.
