I thought the episodes I saw were brilliant. It's just a shame I missed so many (including all the Darlek ones! NOOOOOO!). I am so getting it on DVD.

Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores:

Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA

Because I can remember one successful thing to have come out of Canada. [/sarcasm]

I'll have you know the sesame seed bagel was a Canadian invention.

Or at least, I think so.

P.S. We got Red Green too ;) That's a billion times better than Corrie Street. In fact, we're better than you in everyway if you ignore british rock n' roll and the fact that you are our sovereign leader and ...uhm.

Hehe, glad you took it as a joke :P

It started off really cheesy, and mostly continued that way, but towards the end it started having a bit of an overall story to it, and it linked up with the previous Dr. Who series, and that gave it a bit of depth. I enjoyed it!

For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns.

The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

I must say I was very impressed. The first few eps were as Dusqi said quite cheesy and really noticably budget sci fi. Im not sure exactly when it kinda changed directions into something more serious but it might have been Fathers Day. The one where they go back to meed Rose's dad (dont want to give too much away) I was incredibly moved by this episode and it really brought out how good an acress Billie Piper is, it showed that tea-time sci fi can be really good drama too.

The last few episodes really linked into each other well and you can see how cleverly they put little clues in all the other episodes all leading up to the last episode of the series. Again I dont want to spoil it for the people that havnt seen it in other countries but it was the best episode of the series. It was a shame to see Christopher Eccleston go at the end but David Tennant is a quality actor and I know he can take the role on and make the next series (and the xmas special) the best Dr Who episodes ever.

Definately Matt, Tennant is a self confessed Who freak. Whereas Eccleston left in order not to suffer type-cast, Tennant's carreer has aspired to this pinnacle. We could see another Baker on our hands. He's also a really good actor, after seeing the series Casanova.

Billie took us all by suprise. I wouldn't be suprised if we see her popping up in Hollywood in the not too distant future.

I can safetly say that in that series, the only good actors were the Daleks.

The only vaguely good plots involved the Daleks, and only when they spoke. Everything else was cheesy, sounded forced and was not interesting. What's more, they seemed fixated with basing everything on Earth, which is NOT what Dr Who is about. Dr Who is about going to the planet F'rrmerrr IV and meeting the Quezaar people who are having problems with the Quantom reality crackers that somehow links to the Daleks and other such random nonsensical plots that aren't linked in any way.

That's my two cents.

PS: DALEKS!
