Really such flood control is pretty common nothing "new" about it! - Besides a topic which you think up + write in under a minute isn't really worth posting in my opinion.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

 

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

 

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

 

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

lol, it's just to keep people away from spamming

It does get kind of annoying though, many times I could make good posts more quickly, especially here in H&A when sometimes answers are very simple and concise.
