Navyvet1
Just today, I have performed enough recharges of my Crystal Seed so that all subsequesnt recharges by Ilfeen are only 180K. So now, I am considering purchasing a second seed so I will have 2 Crystal Bows to use in the Fight Caves (and follow Muggi's equipment example in the AOW on this subject). I have some questions: 1) What is the cost of a second seed from Ilfeen? I still have to go recharge my existing seed for 180K. When I go to recharge it, I want to bring the right amount of money with me. 2) Is it worth buyng an uncharged seed from another player, either directly or through the Grand Exchange? I noticed that uncharged seeds are available on the GE with a median asking price of around 50K. 3) Regardless of where the second (or subsequent) seed is purchased from, what is the recharge cost? Does the cycle start over for the newest seed, or is the recharge cost the same as my primary seed? (In my case, 180K) Thank you for your help in answering these questions. I have some questions: 1) What is the cost of a second seed from Ilfeen? I still have to go recharge my existing seed for 180K. When I go to recharge it, I want to bring the right amount of money with me. Just buy it from people, should be less than 100k for a new seed. 2) Is it worth buyng an uncharged seed from another player, either directly or through the Grand Exchange? I noticed that uncharged seeds are available on the GE with a median asking price of around 50K. GE....? 3) Regardless of where the second (or subsequent) seed is purchased from, what is the recharge cost? Thank you for your help in answering these questions. I would just go with the Rune x bow though. Italian5kamikaze
Broad bolts are more effective to be honest lol. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
Inuashakent
Broad bolts are more effective to be honest lol. More efficient/effective? No. But it's just ALOT more simple and reliable. Italian5kamikaze
Broad bolts are more effective to be honest lol. More efficient/effective? No. But it's just ALOT more simple and reliable. Rune c'bow with broad bolts has the same range bonus the entire time, crystal bow degrades and im not exactly sure what broad bolts cost right now but I bought a few K a week or two ago for around 60 each. Crystal bow gets 2500 shots while bolts can be reused a few times and with an accumulator you dont have to pick any up either. So in my opinion they are more efficient/ effective, hardly anyone uses crystal bows now because they replaced them. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes. Inuashakent
I'm not a hipprocrit, but I use them too. But they are worse, although they are much more simple. Although this was compared to Adamant bolts, the results would be very close. [hide=]T. Rune crossbow vs. Crystal Bow The rune crossbow is NOT faster than a crystal bow unless you use an uneconomical type of bolt. Thank you Blood Boy 2 for the data: In his test, done at Nechryaels on a fairly full world at 88 range, adamant bolts fired from a Rune crossbow gave 8.7k slayer xp and -90k cash in ammo per hour, while the Crystal bow gave 9.5k slayer xp and -75k cash in ammo per hour. Therefore, the crystal bow is slightly faster xp and slightly cheaper than even adamant bolts, which are the best economically viable bolts (rune bolts would be ridiculously expensive).[/hide] [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
Italian5kamikaze
Hmm, maybe they are better then ill test it out later. But broad bolts are definitely more cost efficient considering that test was done with addy bolts and you can buy almost 4 broad bolts for the price of 1 addy bolt. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
Navyvet1
Well...if you are not able to answer the question as asked, please do not respond. My question had NOTHING to do with Broad Bolts...Rune Crossbows...or anything OTHER THAN Crystal Equipment. Frankly, you are posting spam. I guess I'll go to another help site and ask the same question. Perhaps those that respond will actually READ the question as stated and respond accordingly.
