This is just one of thsoe items like trimmed armour that offer no better bonuses and their only purpose is to show off to other players then realising it wasn't worth the extra money. I once compared it to the Maple Short Bow, the Maple Short Bow had way better Stats all round. I have one myself, and this is what they look like.
