Best Combination plz!

Well, for melee start with rune plate, full helm, platelegs/plateskirt (same stats, skirt is cheaper), and then a full charged Rune Berserker Shield (from Fist of Guthix), rune gauntlets (also from FoG), an Explorer's Ring (Lumbridge Achievement Diary), an Amulet of Power or Amulet of Strength, and either a rune scimitar or rune longsword (Scim is most popular, I think, but both sides have their fans). If you can't be bothered keeping the berserker shield charged, just use a rune kiteshield.

 

 

 

For ranged, full green d'hide, a maple shortbow, and adamant arrows.

 

 

 

For mage, you'll want either FoG mage robes, or the Runecrafter robes from the Great orb Project if you can get them (not as good, but they don't degrade). Plus a staff, and the runes that you need for whatever spell you're casting.

I woulod not reccomend the rune berzerker when you are training long hours because recharging it every 6 hours is a real pain

/agree ... I was with my f2p clan hunting the higher lvl cockroaches and I was tanking, had to run to fog often hehe

And it only gives +1 def in each category and +4 str over a rune kite :roll:

+4 str is a lot seriously...many people use it for it's str...anyway even if it is not recommended it is still THE best armour in the kite position for f2p and that's what this thread is about...not the most feasible or cost efficient or time efficient or whatever #-o

In many cases, +4 str is not enough to boost your max hit and does a negligible amount to boost overall hits. That's why I prefer the power over the strength amulet in pretty much any case.

 

 

 

I was also just going along with the last two posts downplaying the feasibility of the zerker, not disagreeing with the fact that it provides the best bonuses.

look at the zerker ring compared to the warrior ring...look at the bandos chestplate (+4 str) and bandos tassets (+2 str) and compare their prices to torag plate and legs which give better def than either one of them and you will be able to see how much str is valued in RS...only reason why power ammy/fury is preferred over str ammy is due to the large number of other bonuses including prayer bonus (which is rare) they give...and i would also like to add that i've seen quite a lot of ppl wearing the str ammy to train even in p2p worlds as it gives the best str bonus in the game for the amulet slot
