September 19, 200817 yr The Bandos boss will still use his range attack while you are under him, but he will dance around for a few seconds first. Also, its been recorded of close to a 1/350 ratio for Hilt drops, but not completely true. ~Zackdt
September 19, 200817 yr Author That's odd. In Toast guide: he says to go under boss when you need to heal.... But you are praying mele (Covers mele attack), and even if you go underneath boss he will still use range attack.... So what's point in going under him for lol?
September 19, 200817 yr He won't always hit you. You can keep moving around underneath him for 10 minutes if you wanted and he wouldn't hit you. After a while if you stand in one spot under him while you eat, he will get you. Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

Or Does you being beneath him somehow make you not get hit by the range attack...?

Or Does you being beneath him somehow make you not get hit by the range attack...? Being underneath him makes him unable to attack you, similar to dancing with monsters. Once he found the right position to attack you he will attack you again, but while he tries to do that you can eat without getting hit.
September 19, 200817 yr Author What the hell???? How can he do damage to you when your protecting from melee??!! My question has been: Does he use his ranged attack when your beneath him or not?!

He can't use the attack, because you're underneath him. As soon as he has moved around enough to be able to hit you he will attack you again, but while he does that you wont be hit.
September 19, 200817 yr Author Alright. I have soloed bandos at least 30 times, but i never used the method of going under him, just didn't bother. Anyhow here is the reason i got confused: The Bandos boss will still use his range attack while you are under him, but he will dance around for a few seconds first.
