123_x_pac
I just made a new acc cause I'm bored and want to train it to be a str pure for bh. I've never trained a pure before so I'm wondering how to train it. Thanks in advance. Rang3Plz
Depends on which crater you want to stay in. Generally you want 40 attack for rune Highest possible str lvl 1 def since its a pure Pray is optional but you may want it for ultimate str 40 range would also help for green d'hide chaps which give more def than iron legs. Train mage to whatever lvl is needed for the bounty hunter locate spell. "Show Me A Good Loser And I'll Show You A Loser"

And will training for the high-alch level be a wrong? ladycai
The high alch won't be a problem as long as you use non-melee spells so you DON'T gain the HP xp. Having uuber magic will only help if you want to fire blast occasionally. It may be a good idea if you're fighting other str pures. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
Prun
personally I wouldn't suggest getting prayer, but then again it is subjective.

I would go against this statement. for pures, your only life is your total health + your food. so the higher your hitpoints level, the longer you can stay. you can say a pure isn't there to live long, but when ppl hit through you every time, you will get to low hp very fast. and remember, too low, is that you will lose your stuff and win nothing. I'm all for high-hp hybrid pures, but sometimes you need the extra range level boost. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
Prun
nah, you don't need high hp for pures; for example, if you have an extra damage advantage, this would be way better then if you had more hp. even if you had more hp, it wouldn't be very significant, 5-6 more hp lvls at most, if your both pures; with that extra damage you have, tht 5-6 hp would be, in theory, rendered useless. I disagree; an extra damage advantage doesn't trump a higher HP in my opinion. Having more HP is much more significant than having that extra hit, say for example Pure A is fighting Pure B. Pure A has spent most of their time in PC in order to gain as little HP as possible, whereas Pure B has trained normally thus gaining HP exp at a regular rate. Even though Pure A will have higher strength and will be able to get higher hits slightly more consistently than Pure B, it's not so great a difference enough to make Pure B inferior. Pure B will still be able to get high hits fairly consistently and still has a greater HP than Pure A, meaning it will take a bit longer for Pure A to bring him down. Prun
^I can see your arguement in the pc part; but not with the hp; in bh, its not about who can last the longest, it is who has the hits to k0 someone. You bring up a decent arguement, but I stand strong on my views.

That's a personal choice. I myself prefer high hp, and I know a handful of people who agree. We can't say really which owns which, because higher HP means lower stats, which results in a longer time to kill and to get killed; while lower hp and higher stats needs a shorter time for killing! Which wins? Depends on how good they are at clicking :P 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
