I just use a terror bird and i'm pretty sure i am losing money right now but surely soon i will get a visage or dragon full (i hope lol by 1000 kills)

Good luck man. I have a friend who has over 7,000 kills logged now. Not one DFH or Visage. But he says that he's made a huge profit from the mith bars and rune drops.

Im closing in on 900 kills now, my friend got a full helm within 80 kills and someone yesterday got a visage right next to me so it's quite depressing.

 

 

 

On a side note though, there is not much chance of making a profit when ranging unless you get ALOT of rune drops.

 

 

 

I'm on a definate loss here over my kills.

 

 

 

Supplies:

 

 

 

100-120 diamond bolts e - 40-50k

 

6 pray pots - 48k

 

1 anti fire pot - 2k?

 

1 ranging pot - 2k?

 

1 super def pot - 2k

 

1 terrorbird - 1k?

 

17 shark - 15k?

 

 

 

so thats per trip 110-120k

 

 

 

The loot: (based on about 7 kill average)

 

 

 

21 mith bars - 20k

 

1 - 2 rune items - 25-50k

 

27 blood runes - 8k?

 

misc rune ranging items - 15k

 

misc items (pots/junk) - 10k

 

 

 

so thats 75-100k

Melee is just as bad because people struggle to get more than 5 kills a trip doing melee (unless he is max cbt)

I believe he is nearly maxed, and uses a unicorn or a bunyip. I know that with a bunyip it's possible to finish a task of eight mith dragons without banking.

I tried melee and i could only manage 5 kills on average so 8 would be about right yea.

 

 

 

You can't use a storage pet to carry extra supplies in because they can't be taken through the whirlpool only made inside.

 

 

 

True though with a bunyip it would probably help me ALOT, guessing about 14/15 kills with one, once i have the summoning level lol.

Keep it up bud : ) Ive killed over 3000 irons from slayer...gotten a d med. But as someone said above, the reward is in the journey. I am also happy to see a straight up kill log here on blogworld, as opposed to players' life stories. Not that I am opposed to the latter there, I am fully in support of them too. But it is nice to mix it up a bit : ) I may do the same here soon myself.

Well i just sold a dragon chain to pay for immense supplies... i've got enough for over 50 trips now so this blog will last until i get a DFH regardless.

** the ancient pages are added to the book and as of now do nothing... im guessing that people are going to need a full book to open the mithril door when the update finally comes. (there is about 28??? pages in total)
