I haven't looked around to much but I havent been able to find any info on if I have to catch 100 rats again. I have had this medal for years now and I am wondering, do I have to drop it and then cat 100 rats again? Or is there some way I can get this task without having to catch 100 more rats.

sadly you'll have to do it again, as the achievment diary doesn't realize if you've already done parts of it.

Well, it was super ugly to me, the day before the diary I got the medal...next day....need another medal? I was like GTFO jagex. But yes, you have to catch the 100 rats all over again..

Catch the rats in Evil Dave's dungeon while you're at it (if you've done the RFD subquest in the first place, that is). Even if you got to do that blasted thing again (I had to, too), you can gather some shmexy spices in the proces, which might always come in handy at some points.
