Hi,

 

I really should do DT, I've just been delaying it for a long long time. Is is difficult, and could I do it with my stats? Also, any tips? Thanks :D

You could do it, it's not really hard it just takes a while

I was thinking of doing it myself for Barrows gloves, but should I do edgares(sp?) Ruse (sp? lol) For the trollheim(sp? lol) tele?

Its probably better if youre going to do the quest later on anyways but dont do it solely for the purpose of using it for DT the quest will take longer to do then it will to just walk there.

Its probably better if youre going to do the quest later on anyways but dont do it solely for the purpose of using it for DT the quest will take longer to do then it will to just walk there.

 

I could also use it to get to GWD faster for avansies once i get 80 range.

I finished DT with stats that were lower than yours. I actually found DT a fun quest (Off Topic...the most frustrating quest is Mourning's End pt 2). Just read the guides and finish it in stages...you will be fine.

 

 

 

The Trollheim Tele comes in handy for a lot of things, so I would recommend doing it before you take on DT.

its very easy i did it on my 1 def 16 pray pure with the same mage lvl as you

 

for damis(shadow) you can safe spot him on the wall of a tunnel north of where he spwns

 

for fareed(smoke) you can snare and water blast

 

for the vamp(blood) guy there is a safe spot where he cant teli to you and its hard to explain

 

and for kamil(ice) i used a blocker and manual casted fire bolt

You could easily do it. I did at 64 combat with only 1 prayer. I died afew times however. Just make sure you don't under estimate the people your fighting. I died on kamil simply because i didn't take enough super restores because i died on like 5/60 attack. Do the start bit then fight Fareed just pray hes the biggest noob. Then desseous abit harder still pray and eat when neccesary. Then kamil - don't use trollheim teleport it wastes space. Games necklace tele then bank in rogues den and so forth. REMEMBER for Kamil to take enough stuff and plenty of restores to keep your mage above 60. Use fight blast. Now Damis (the suposed hardest of all) he drains prayer alot...i mean ALOT. I used 10 (4) prayer potions killing him on my main. Melee him with a whip and dds the first form because you won't be fast enough to spec pot pray then spec and pot pray again. Wear initiate or prosthelyte for prayer bonus and a helm of neiz if possible. All in all its my favourite quest and its heaps of fun. Good luck with doing it. Don't worry about the stranger hes a noob too.

for kamil you would be better fire bolting not blasting as you will need to restore pot every 30 sec's or somthing like that to keep your mage at 59+

dt is over spoken, it's really easy!

 

just bring pps and anti posins read the tip.it guide and you will be fine
