October 5, 200817 yr Author You know, I don't want to start a big argument over this, especially since I was just banned for a week for calling someone "Hypo-sensitive" but didn't some Admins (in particular Turtlefemm) Crackdown on EVERYTHING on off-topic, because you can't post pictures, videos or blocks of text with swearing, innuedos, references or anything even slightly amusing, even if you do warn people with any sort of disclaimer... It's like someone saying "No, you can't do that, but we can because we're bigger then you" I can't speak for the Administrators or the Tip.it staff in general, but this is my understanding of how it works: While you're on the Tip.it forums, you are bound to the rules set by those with authority. Breaking those rules can get you banned. If you don't like the rules, go somewhere where the rules suit your desires. And I'm sure that the named Administrator did not make the decision to remove rule-breaking content herself, but ran any ideas through the Admin council before implementing them.
October 5, 200817 yr I don't really consider what I posted as offensive... It was on topic, only contains 2 instances of minor swearing, and it's not aimed at anyone, but to illustrate a point. Like I said earlier if it affects you that much I'll remove it.
October 5, 200817 yr Only people in Quebec will agree with me, but I watched Jean-Luc Mongrain (he's a new reporter for a French channel) every day since I was 12. Sadly he retired last year, and my interest with the media has plummeted to a zero.
