October 5, 200817 yr Lol I still don't get it. The death altar/death tele takes you to the other side. I went there and the door was dark. So I went through the front entrance and through the temple, turned the mirror and the door was white. So I went back through the death altar and the door is open still, however I can't get through the secondary door to the main temple without rotating the mirror. Once I do that I can get to the main temple but not back to the death altar. This means that once I go through the death altar I can no longer get into it at all. You say rotate the mirror once I've gone through the other door but it's impossible. Death altar via abyss ---> light temple ---> rotate mirror ---> go kill dark beasts ---> come back to mirror and rotate again to reset for next entry This is the mirror you move. It is the only mirror you move. Now that I have rotated that mirror, I can go kill dark beasts. When I come back, I rotate it again to open the door back to the altar. October 5, 200817 yr ...Unholy book is never good. Go with a Rune defender. Unholy book was suggested to make your prayer pots last longer, which it does magnificently. It was also suggested that godswords are more efficient than whips in this rare case was it not? and the 3 extra prayer points would theoretically be better, aye? I have no experience on the issue...just going by what others have said. Perhaps it was suggested - but Dark Beasts are weak to the whip, and the whip is a lot easier on the pocketbook. October 6, 200817 yr EDIT: Seems to be people thinking there is no multi so I will give directions. When you get into the chamber go North, these are the ones added with the Dark Bow and are multi. The old beasts are in single combat to the West. (bolded part by me) Im not sure I understand what you ment about that? Did you mean that the other beasts dont drop dark bow? because they do you know :) I always kill the ones up by the rune rock and I get a bow on each slayer assignement. They drop them quite frequent in my case acctually. About whip vs gs; I used both and I have to say gs is way better on the beasts then whip. Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting Right I understand now. So instead of teleing away when task ends I need to go back through the temple to re-open the door. I was thinking you could reopen the door from the otherside. May try a telegrab on it... I also tried killing the 3 mourners in the room with the new key. They drop full mourner, don't drop your stats and you don't have to fix the 2 parts. Instead of using a Terrorbird it might be easier using a War Tortoise to start with, stocking it up with pots and then dumping the mourner gear once through. Worth the 4k for a War Tortoise, if you are going to use the Abyssal non-pray drain thingy. Trust the Gene Genie!
