Leoo
Illegal downloading has been a major issue on the internet. - Do you illegally download? - What are your thoughts on this issue? - What do you think will happen to prevent illegal downloading? I admit I have downloaded a few songs from LimeWire, but who hasn't? LimeWire should be the blame, not the users. Again, YouTube has a lot of copyrighted content on it, from music to movies. I have watched full movies/movie clips on YouTube, who is to blame? Me, the person who uploaded it or YouTube? I have a feeling this is going to be a interesting topic. deloriagod
- Do you illegally download? POLICE :o  - What are your thoughts on this issue? Only hurts the record company, the artist won't see [cabbage] from what I'd pay for their albums. - What do you think will happen to prevent illegal downloading? Not much. I figure there will continue to be these big lawsuits in failed attempts to stop pirates, but in the end it won't phase them very much. Kenshinjapan
Don't blame limewire because you download something off of there, that's just childish. But yes, I do download music onto the computer (never off of it). I blame no one but myself. YOU! ATTEND TET EVENTS! CLICK HERE!
Leoo
Don't blame limewire because you download something off of there, that's just childish. But yes, I do download music onto the computer (never off of it). I blame no one but myself. Think before you make stupid comments about how I am being childish. I am not fully blaming LimeWire ( I don't even use it much). If LimeWire didn't allow you to download anything, then you wouldn't be able to download much, right? All I am saying is that the provider of the downloads does not help.
Lenticular_J
If the people didn't make the music, you wouldn't be tempted to download it. Their fault. If their parents hadn't sexed and made the musicians, you wouldn't have music to be tempted by. Damn parents of musicians. It's easy to blame. But it's your fault for doing it. We really shouldn't make a topic about this. The police may be watching. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
RichieMcD
Limewire is just a hosting and file sharing site. People upload copyrighted material to Limewire, the Limewire program isn't to blame, the people illagely uploading copyrighted material are. In answer to your questions 1. Yes I do, quite frequently. 2. I frankly couldn't care if I don't pay a wealthy artist for their material, my 10 euros or whatever wont impact their life greatly, probably the cost of their favorite chocolate bar or something. 3. Very little as it's very hard to enforce the law on so many who break it, it's like trying to combat the problem of littering but on a not so obvious scale. cheese666me
Yes, every single music file in my computer was illegally downloaded from Ares. I do not regret doing it, its not like someone is going to sue me. Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump. Kriegsmier
Torrents for the win. I had Iron Man DVD quality 2 weeks before it was released. I went out and bought the DVD as well so get off my back people. ;) If i like the movie enough, or the song/album enough i have no problems going out and buying the DVD/Album. I consider downloading a test run.
megakiller32
I download music off limewire, i guess that's illegal. I like alot of music, and not only is the stuff I like difficult to find, (very difficult) it would be stupendously expensive to buy every album i like. In communist Russia, music was free and you had to pay for concerts, its a fairly good idea, shows that bands and artists have to work harder and make better stuff otherwise people won't buy thier music. I don't think limewire is to blame, that's like blaming a computer company when your pc stops working because you go into the shower with it, and stick forks into the disc drive.
