When should I attempt lost city?

Should I get my strength up, and melee it, or should I keep my distance, and use magic blasts?

 

 

 

Which skills should I raise before I am able to do it?

 

 

 

I was thinking about getting my prayer to 43, buying a few prayer pots, and then using magic on the tree beast, while using protect from melee.

Just safe spot the Tree.

 

A pure with only 35 magic or 30 range and 10 hp could do this quest no problem.

+1. You can bring a friend with like logs and bowstring and a knife with you to make an oak bow for you, if you dont have the levels, and arrows can be taken on the boat to entrana.

 

 

 

You could also bring runes to combat mage. :)

Just done it - the only HP I lost was on the zombies, because I didn't use prayer.

It is seriosuly the easiest quest ever. Just sit behind the safespot and mage it, it's that easy.

It was ridiculously easy. I was told to put it off for as long as I can, because it's a difficult quest. Obviously someone tried to melee it at my level, without prayer or food! Hah.

 

 

 

The zombies were the hardest part, to be honest. Haha.

You can probably do it, the demon might give you a little problem though. Just let the gnomes kill it, then go in and finish it off.

What is the demon's weakness? Melee, range, or magic?

I ranged it when I had about 52 range. Went down pretty easily. I used a mage shortbow and mith arrows. Just pay attention to your health and you'll be fine.

I was only 42 ranged. What I did was use food and d long and protect from melee till i was almsot out of food. Then i sat in the back ranging it wwiht magic protect using ppots. Killed it easy.

Since you have such a low range level, yes, but it's really not neccisary to wait for the gnomes. Just hang back (he won't walk thru the gnomes) and mage him with protect on. You won't get hit once.

I did this quest with a level 3 and used magic. There's a safe spot at the south side of the tree, and once you get him trapped it's cake.
