January 3, 200917 yr There's only one bad thing about the quest cape... It cannot be trimmed. But personally, I think it's deffo the best achievement cape. I think Runecrafting, Slayer, and Farming take much much more effort to get than the Quest Cape.
January 3, 200917 yr There's only one bad thing about the quest cape... It cannot be trimmed. But personally, I think it's deffo the best achievement cape. I think Runecrafting, Slayer, and Farming take much much more effort to get than the Quest Cape. i wouldnt say quest cape is the best archievement cape, but it still is 1 of the most anoying 1: if u do rc during 2months, u get ur cape, ur happy and u can say to urself i never wanna do rc again, but if u want ur questcape u also spent over a month training those stupid little skills and doing the hard quests and then 1 day u open runescpa eand see theres a new quest 4 wich u need some other skillreq and there u go again wasting some days on getting the skill... (for ex rocking out: i would never have trained my smith above 60 if it wast 4 the quest)... January 3, 200917 yr I spent a lot more on Questing than the cheaper skills, be it spending money to increase skills, money spent on pots and food, and to rebuy equipment that I lost (I've lost countless Dragon Legs, Barrows Gloves, Rune Platebodies, potions, food, my quest cape several times, Glories, etc) I wish people would stop comparing these things like it's a one or the other choice. You CAN do both, and you're supposed to do both. So do both and stop taking an elitist attitude in a VIDEO GAME.
January 3, 200917 yr At this point in time i have no 99skill capes (800k from 99str btw.) But i have always thought that the quest cape was ranked as one of the best capes, as it takes so much more than camping pc for hours on end like i do for strenght . For anyo ne with a quest cape have a  =D>
January 4, 200917 yr quest cape does take a long time especially the hard/long/annoying ones but yeah most people don't remember the year or 2 ago that they did quest a lot and did the harder quest.... when most of the people actually " go for" a quest cape they usually have only the easy ones left i don't have a quest cape and i don't plan on getting one unless i get hugely bored.... i think the people that do it gradually are smart :D and usually your first few months of p2p are spent doing quest and people forget that that was part of getting the cape too Its like strength its only common because it is fun and useful.
January 4, 200917 yr To be quite honest, i think quest cape > most skill capes. Exception of like, untrimmed summoning, hp, slayer. The obvious things. O.O
February 9, 200917 yr Just did MepII WITHOUT a guide and it was pain in the [wagon]. took 3 days to do it. But now im proud of myself for completing such a complex maze. storyline in that quest was kind of left behind, but good quest non the less. =D> The quest cape... i really like the cape and dont see anything "nooby" about it, but i always think that does that quester deserve the cape and with that i mean , that has he/she taken a shortcut in the form of quest guide. The quest cape is actually hardest achievement cape to get, let me explain: In skill you do 1 thing millions of times and know what you are going to do next. In quest you dont always know what you should do and you must use your head to solve the situation. You really get a good feeling after solving some harnessing maze by yourself. If you however use quest guide, it shows that you dont care about the quest or the plot and that you only want the reward. After using it many times, you really cant think by yourself and you use guides in every part, even in the ones that are just "travelling from place x to place y" So in short, Skill capes are mark of patience and wealth, quest cape is mark of intelligence and patience too, after all, you must raise level and keep your head calm in direst of situations P.S: couple of thoughts can made up a real story, dont you think? #-o :-w "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.
February 10, 200917 yr I wish people would stop comparing these things like it's a one or the other choice. You CAN do both, and you're supposed to do both. So do both and stop taking an elitist attitude in a VIDEO GAME. Your self appointed role was well earned. Though I put it in a different class than 99s, simply because they're two different concepts. Comparing them would be apples and oranges, I think. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
February 10, 200917 yr Well the fact is that the quest cape is very easy with all the fansites. Hell even JAGEX has questhelp... Oh btw your sig has an error in it. Diamond isn't a metal. ~It's Super Effective! (The Zaaps Blog)~My YouTube Channel, where you get to watch me go around and make a fool out of myself and all comp capersGuides:~Yeah I wrote them once~Suggestions:~Yeah I made those once~
February 10, 200917 yr this thread died twice why is it still here?.... :wall: i like smithing idk what you're talking about. farming however is a pain in the [wagon]. contact was easy. dealing with scabarites was a challenge... it was fun if you knew what to do. Wow, watching this thread is better than pro wrestling! =D>This thread is probably better than pro wrestling because the fights here are real (And the boobs).
February 10, 200917 yr Nothing, people just like to bash other people's achievements to make theirs seem better. Quest capes are definitely NOT bad, even if the person did use a quest guide. Quests like Underground Pass, Monkey Madness and Desert Treasure are already hard enough with them. I couldn't agree more.
