I saw Venus and Mercury last night.... climbed up on a mountain and saw some satellites, shooting stars, other planets, and the milky way too. It was pretty cool. My legs hurt like hell though.

That's what I said when those idiots told me, if you're lucky tonight you'll be able to see the milky way. Since we are inside of it, we can see the spacedust and smaller stars that make it up. If you go to a very dark place at night and look hard enough, you can see the green haze of stars in the sky. That's the milkyway. It's never in the same spot and it rotates around at night since our planet is spinning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did not take pictures of the planets I saw because they were basically just really bright stars. The sun was setting and you could see them both very well right above it. It was pretty interesting, but it looked alot like the picture on page one.. nothing really photo worthy.
