okay i justgot my slayer assignment and i got 161 greater demons. really don't know much about them. should i range them? don't have runes and any money for runes to mage them :oops: or melee them? i have 70 attack 70 defence 70 strength 66 range 63 magic. so what should i do ? also where would be the best place to kill them? thanks :D

With 70's you could melee them fine if you had some barrows armour and monkfish.

Melee is fine. Guthans/Bunyip is ideal to heal.

 

 

 

Best place to kill them is the Brimhaven dungeon, however if you are under 127cb you will be attacked by the dogs as well. They are only aggro for about 15 mins if you stay to one zone. The zone I preffered (before I was 127cb) was as soon as you got up the stairs. There are 2 demons which will never leave the zone and 1 which flicks between them. As long as you make sure that one is in your zone your OK.

 

 

 

The zone is approx south to the fungus.

As the others have said you should be fine to melee. There are a few safespots if you wish to range or mage. They have very low magic defence so it is a viable option if you don't mind the rune cost. :)

If you have neither of those methods for healing just bring food, their accuracy is horrible. (If you can get a void spinner that'd be good too, no matter how pitiful it is, or fruit bat I suppose)

Well, if you wanna melee, there's really nowhere to go other than brimhaven dungeon. However, if you want to range/mage, go to the ogre enclave. I think there's only three or four of them, but they're caged up, and a few squares in front of the cage are safe zones from the blue dragons in the enclave. Just make sure to either mage or use arrows/bolts that you're willing to lose, because there's no way to pick them up other than telegrab.

You can totally do it, with anchovy pizzas i can kill ~60 demons on my own, and thats with revenants attacking every now and then, with those stats and member food/armour/weapons and no revenants you could manage a whole lot more.
