any reason(s)? are they simply quicker?

Orange, I almost never stop running.

I just find reds to be quicker than oranges, and also don't require any waterskins and are easy to get to.

i've just tried reds and found them slightly more irritating than oranges, i think i may go with oranges. any more opinions? and does wearing graahk help at all for oranges?

 

 

 

edit - also is it best setting 4 traps or 3? considering the loss of energy generated by the fourth trap..

I'd go with reds. I've done my share of oranges, and reds, and I'm never still with reds, which is what I like. And yes, wearing Graahk helps with orange sallys. Do you smoke your traps? I always smoke them, it's made a difference to me. And lay as many traps as you can, but bring extras in case randoms make you lose some.

i don't smoke my traps. i'm going to go with oranges for a bit, i fail them a lot less than reds which obviously means more exp.

Then again you are only using 3 traps, and don't smoke your traps. I smoked them and had 4 going and caught them most of the time.

Orange are nicely close together, the only real concern is water. if you have humidify or the water tiara I would suggest those over red.

Red till 70 i would suggest. Don't use the 4th trap, too much running. If your not catching enought reds, go back to oranges or even gray chins until 65 or something and try reds again.
