How long can one use them for, how do they work, and are they worth it?

You put them on and get double exp in skills for a while. If your in the wildy you get 4x the exp.

Any idea how long certain ones last? ;)

Personally I think they are only worth it for mining and agility, at the wildy agility course in a pking world with them you get... pause.... dramatic silence.... 160K AGILITY XP AN HOUR

 

And as for mining I really dont know but I would mine coal in that one skeleton mine

They're untradeable I heard

1) 1 hour equipped. But if you take them off, they don't count toward that 1 hour.

 

2) They double your xp in PvP worlds, and give 4x if you are using them in the wild

 

3) There's a long list of skills they work on. I would say it depends how conservative you are with them. For example at Wild agility course, are you going to keep them equipped for the most xp/hour, or are you going to only slap them on for the final lap bonus?

If clan wars is a safe-area (which i highly think it is), you could stand just 1 square out of it and feather bolts for major xp. :D

Yes Clan Wars if a safe area. I would recommend BH though if you're going to do that (Bank).

Yes, I know. But you never know right? I would personally alch in chunks (like 300 or so at a time) just in case my pathetic excuse for a computer lags while a pker comes. But you know, whatever floats your boat.

You know, the timer after you get attacked, walking into clan wars, ring of life works. ;) .

 

Though I would do the same thing anyway.
