At lvl 55 fishing is harpooning tuna/swordfish a good option to train?

Is it fast at all, cuzz I tried doing it at lvl 45 but it wasn't as fast.

Right now im doing salmon/trout should i stick to it?

Thx for help

If you've done shilo village then I would use fly fishing to train. Otherwise lobsters would probably be your best bet, as you would mostly get tuna at your level, and I believe harpoon fishing is slower than lobsters.

I'm going to agree. Try doing the Shilo Village Quest to go fly fishing there (second fastest exp in game and you can bank)

But for the fastest (once you hit 60+ fising) do barbarian fishing with a heavy rod. ::'

Stick to the salmon and trout. Absolute fastest xp in f2p.

Not so sure if you add in swordfish gloves, although of course the time it takes to get them offsets the benefit.

I always did swordfish and tuna ever since i could. I would reccomend them in Catherby for training. Their good xp for fishing, and good for cooking. The swordfish are also good money if you sell.

Gained first quest cape on 3/22/09! Gained 99 fishing 5/22/09!

I forgot when I got 99 cooking!

If you're F2P, one of the best options is swordfish with FoG swordie gloves at level 65. With the double xp on swordies, it's about the same speed as salmon (with those tuna mixed in) if not faster, and you're obviously going to make much more money.

But if you want to powerfish, fly fishing ftw.
