If hygiene were a skill lol. I don't really think it should be a skill, but really, it might be kind of funny. If you didn't brush your teeth (yes, yes, they didn't have toothbrushes in the overall theme RS has, but it's not a set time) NPC's wouldn't talk to you and say, "Your teeth are horrible! I can't stand to look at you!" and you'd have to brush your teeth before they'd talk to you.

 

 

 

If you didn't shower or bathe, whenever you tried to train the monsters would walk away and you wouldn't be able to kill them because you'd smell so bad.

 

 

 

If you didn't wash your hair, it could be infested with all sorts of little animals, and lice and you wouldn't be able to do business with the shops or banks, unless of course to get some shampoo or treatment.

 

 

 

If you didn't take care of your feet you wouldn't be able to walk or go anywhere, and if you did you wouldn't be able to walk far.

 

 

 

If you didn't wash your eyes, they could crust over and your RS character would be blind and stumble all over the place.

 

 

 

You could get the plague and keep dying repeatedly every seven minutes.

 

 

 

You could get leprosy and you wouldn't be able to interact with anyone, no trades, no duels, no banks, no shops, no quests, no talking to NPCs.

 

 

 

And all sorts of other diseases and sicknesses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So I don't really want this implemented because it would be a bit of a pain, but I just thought it was a funny idea and I wanted to share it with you. It might be a bit pointless, but we need silly topics now and then.

yes well as delightful as the whole thought of leprosy, plauges and death are, no. although it could teach younger players to wash themselves...nasty lil kids.

a sitting skill would be nice =] my character has been standing for over 4 years... his poor lil pixelated feet...

There was no such thing as hygene back in the time period this is set in.

Haha this idea is hilarious. I like it. Yes it'd be a pain but it'd be so funny seeing characters stumbling all over the place or letting go of their bladders after holding on for over 2years :lol: (like mine) Or collapsing onto sits, after standing, walking and runnning for years and years.
