Cost effective would be to look at the current prices of everything, and buy the clean (I think clean are cheaper) herbs, vials, and 2nds for whatever potion will cost the least to make after selling the finished potion. Take it from us, its the best way, and there isnt much else you can do except buy the 2nds for the fastest exp. However, herblore is really expensive to level, so i would suggest making the potion that really is the cheapest gp/xp. Join "Liked" for trustworthy dicing! Other than that, regular strength potions, the last time I checked, breaks even. cookie1762 Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 One of the best ways that I found for raising herblore (and combat) is to kill Banshees. They drop alot of herbs and also noted pure essence. This was one of my favorite ways of raising my herb level.
