October 24, 200817 yr I know Jagex doesn't permit accounts that are registered under the age of 13 to use regular chat. They are only able to use the quick chat function to talk so as not to give out personal information. But its bizarre if you can't use quick chat either. I also know of a bug that occurs when a new ad loads in F2p and doesn't allow you to use the chatbox until you reclick somewhere in the game window. Maybe your computer/browser is having trouble with the Java applet. Try loading RuneScape in a different browser (such as Firefox if you are using Internet Explorer) and see if it is able to work with the Java applet better. ~Retired 13-July-2010~Thanks for the great memories folks :).

Try going away from quick-chat worlds (if you're in one.) Could also be you've been muted by a mod, not by jagex 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Also, on TIF, you're supposed to put the draynor.net stats signature in, well, your signature. Go to the top of the page and click on 'User Control Panel', then 'Profile', then 'Edit Signature', and paste the draynor.net link in there, so you don't have to keep posting it in each post you make. :
