Ok, this is my very first post on the Tip.It forums so if this thread is misplaced im sorry.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First of all I would like to say that I am a huge fan of Tip.It and it has helped me out tonnes. As a token of my appreciation I would like to write some guides ( I have an extensive knowledge of most things in RuneScape) for the Tip.It community but the only thing is I dont know how to upload them onto Tip.It. I have the sticky about uploading images and placing them on your guide but I dont know where to upload the finished guide. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you mean the general guides forum..?

Just create a thread in the General Guides forum with the contents of your guide.

I mean like quest guides, skill guides, monster hunting guides etc.

Ah, that's up to the Admin team. You'd have to contact them about that.

So I cant lets say...create a guide, submit it and if its approved it is placed in the respective guide section?

The only thing you can do for now, is to put it in the General Guides section, which I'd probably recommend you do first to see what people think of it. But yes, contact an admin and talk to them and see what they can do.

Contacting and admin will not help you in anyway really.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If your guides are good and the crew use parts from them you will get credited

 

 

 

If your guide is perfect and they don't have one for it they may use it and give u original author credit

 

 

 

If you are any good they may offer u a place on crew where u write guides by demand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have many credits on the site from bug corrections etc but only 2 guides - 1 I wrote while on crew, the other I offered to them while on crew and was then used after I left.

We do not accept user generated guides for the main Tip.It site(tip.it/runescape). All guides should be posted in the player made guides forum(viewforum.php?f=103). We do, occasionally, accept guides from within that forum to be standardized by a crewbie, should the guide be acceptable and of a suitable topic. Any corrections or updates to existing content should be posted in the website updates & corrections forum(viewforum.php?f=186) whilst any recommendations for guides or other content not currently on the site belongs in the website discussion forum(viewforum.php?f=60)
