Remember, big junk (sigils and the like) are worth MUCH less than smaller junk. (scrolls and the like). There's lots you can do with that (use in smaller junk trades, lending out items, ect. So try to get it in "small and stable" junk.

Not normally....just attach to a spirit shield and use it...its very good
