Turoths

Hi,

I just got turoths as a slayer assignment. I haven't got enough points to skip them, and don't want to Burthorpe them. Are they really that bad, and if not, what invent and setup should I use? Thanks :)

For turoths tasks I use rune plate/legs,leaf bladed sword(it's better than the spear),neitiznot helm, row, obsidian cape, glory. In the inventory I take a few casts of bones to peaches and pineapple pizzas(they heal 22, almost double lobster in 1 pizza). They drop quite a few items(herbs, clues) so they're not that bad as they seem.

Kill them in the chaos tunnels using the guide on the main part of tip it, use whatever inventory you like.

They're not the worst task, but they are rather slow and boring, because you can either use the leaf-bladed sword or the leaf-bladed spear, and that's it. You can't use conventional weapons such as a whip, dragon scimitar, etc.

You should be bringing some super attack and super strengths, preferably 4 doses. Bring some food, but if you can cast B2P, then use that instead or when your food supplies run out. As always with tasks, bring a black mask, or if you can, a Slayer helmet. For armour, I've found that turoths are weak-hitting in Guthans/Torags, so you can use Rune or Proselyte for this task.

Not had them since the sword was released but I hear it is a lot better than the spear. Plus it is one handed giving you room for a rune defender.

Always super pot attack and strength if you are slayering, use defenses only if you are getting hit loads.

Without your defence is very high I would use the sword and a obby shield, not the rune defender as they hit pretty hard and constant. Its impractical to bank for food often as they take a while to get to (well at least the ones in the slayer dungeon).

Turoths are not a terrible task. The leaf-bladed sword is not all that terrible, and the valuable drops make up for the weaker weapon.

You can also range them with broad bolts if you want.
