I just hit 60 magic and I am setting off for the arena! However, I have heard that the god spells (Saradomin Strike, Claws of Guthix, Flames of Zamorak) have secondary effects besides dealing damage. I still haven't decided which god spell I will choose, so could someone give me more information on these secondary facts?

 

 

 

I heard, for example, that Saradomin Strike lowers prayer levels. By how much? And I assume this is only useful against human-controlled players?

Just get Guthix, it is auto castable with the Void mace.

Yes, sure, but what's it DO? Is it damage only? Does it lower stats? That's what I'm curious about. The Tip.it guides don't give any details on the spells' effects.

Guthix = Defense, Zam = Mage, Sara = Pray.

I'm not sure on if it works on monsters, but you can get all three :thumbsup:

They're not very useful until you hit 80 mage. Then you can cast Charge, which boosts their max hit to 30.

Guthix is really the best one, yes, it works on monsters! That is why I use it at DKS! But until 80 magic, it isn't worth it. You can hit just as high for half the price at 75...

Guthix= -5 def

 

Zammy= -5 mage

 

Saradomin= -5 prayer

 

 

 

Saradomin is good for pvping and guthix is the best for all around

I accidently got saradomin when i meant to get guthix so i have 2 staves now lol
