What firewall program do you have?

The firewall will generally be in the active programs (the icons) in the bottom right corner of the screen.

ok i found the firewall settings under windows security alerts...but i can't seem to find swifkit in the exceptions. am i supposed to look somewhere else?

[EDIT: If the opening poster is no longer watching this thread, don't mind this post. I didn't realize this thread was about 2 days old. #-o ...]

pitac83, are you sure you're using Vista's built-in firewall, or is it possible you're using something that came with your AntiVirus? Or even more crazy, something that someone else helped you out by putting in and then left in a basic state, like ZoneAlarm, Comodo, Outpost, or one of several others that you may not recognize? :-s

There's one way we can be certain what firewall you're running. (TBH, I'm surprised this wasn't asked before now.) Could you please show us a screenshot of all the icons (including hidden ones) in that nifty tray in the bottom right corner of your windows desktop? :geek:

Thanks in advance. ::'
