greater demons

Featured Replies

just got greater demons as a slayer assignment.

Was wondering if i were to mage them, what spell i should use (dont say slayer dart, only 53 slayer =S)

If i were to range them what ammo would i use?

And is it even worth to consider meleeing them? (no guthans)

The two places I know of are in the wilderness (Demonic Ruins) and in the Ogre Cave (with the blue dragons), the ones in the Ogre Cave are caged so it's mage/range friendly.

Greater demons are fairly weak, they can best be found in Brimhaven dungeon, along with some pesky wild dogs.

You do not need Guthans to kill them, just full inventory of monks/sharks.

A P2P strategy for players without Guthan's armour (in the Brimhaven Dungeon) is to bring a super defence potion as well as Bones to peaches runes/tablets. Fight as per normal but kill the usually aggressive wild dogs for their bones whenever needed to heal oneself.

They are best dealt with by melee, even with your stats. The best place to kill them would be in the Brimhaven dungeon. People will argue that it's not worth it because of the wild dogs, but if you go to the correct spot (just south of the clearing where there's first demons, the spot with 2 respawns) the dogs are hardly a problem. They'll rarely attack you there, and they'll become unaggressive after 10 minutes anyway.
